How to Add products and categories with Astana POS

Create or Manage Products

1. Open the Products Menu Log in to the Astana POS app. Tap the ☰ Menu icon in the top-left corner. Select Products. Open Products Menu in Astana POS

2. Add a New Product On the Products screen, tap the Add (+) button in the bottom-right corner.

On the Add Product page, enter the following details:

Product Name Selling Price Category (select an existing category, create a new one, or leave blank to assign later) Product Code / SKU and Barcode (If available) Add Product Screen in Astana POS

Customize the Product Image You can personalize the product by managing its image:

Take a Photo – Capture a new photo using your device camera. Choose a Photo – Select an image from your gallery. Remove Photo – Delete the current image. Tap Save to add the product to your inventory.

Product Image Options in Astana POS --- Create or Manage Categories There are two ways to create product categories.

Method 1: While Adding a Product On the Add Product page:

Tap Category → Create Category. Enter the category name. Tap Save. Create Category while Adding Product

Method 2: From the Categories Screen Go to Products. Select Product Categories. Tap the Add (+) button in the bottom-right corner. Note: Any categories you have already created will be displayed here.

Enter the Following: Category Name Optional Actions: Assign existing products to the category. Create new products under this category. Note: These steps are optional. You can update categories anytime.

Tap Save to finish.

Sync & Verify Astana POS syncs in real time. Newly created products and categories will immediately appear on all connected devices and in the Back Office.

To edit or delete products or categories:

Tap the product or category name from the list. Select Edit or use the Delete button at the bottom of the page. Advanced Products Settings For advanced options such as product variants or composite items, log in to the Astana POS Back Office via the web. Any changes made there will automatically sync with your POS app.
