- To optimize the barcode functionality, it is crucial to adjust the barcode terminal settings to incorporate the "Enter" or "TAB" keys. Neglecting this configuration may hinder the efficient utilization of the barcode features.
Utilize Barcodes to Facilitate Product Identification
- Launch the Astana POS App and navigate to the Main Menu.
- Select 'Settings'.
- Activate 'Internal Barcode' and return to the Main Menu, then click on 'New Sale'.
- Upon seeing the barcode icon displayed on the screen, confirm that the internal barcode feature has been successfully enabled.
To add barcodes to products, follow these steps:
- Access the Main Menu and select 'Products'.
- Utilize the plus button to create a new product entry.
- Enter the product name and select the barcode icon.
- Proceed to scan the barcode.
- Upon completion, remember to 'Save' the updated information.
