What is QR Ordering System

The QR Ordering System is an innovative digital feature seamlessly integrated into a Point of Sale (POS) system. This system allows customers to conveniently browse menus and place orders by scanning QR codes with their smartphones. Through a user-friendly interface, patrons can effortlessly select items, add them to a virtual cart, and finalize their purchases directly from their mobile devices. The integration of this system with the POS ensures efficient order processing and real-time updates on order statuses, promoting effective communication between customers and restaurant personnel.

Restaurants have the opportunity to create QR codes that can be positioned on tables or in close proximity to the entrance. Customers can easily scan these codes with their smartphones to view the menu and place orders directly through their devices. These orders are then smoothly relayed to the restaurant's Point of Sale (POS) system for streamlined processing and preparation of the chosen dishes.

How to add QR Ordering

• Log in to the POS Back Office Webportal.
• Navigate to the main menu and select "Settings."
• Access the "Features" section.
• Enable the "QR Ordering/Web Store" option.
• Save the changes by clicking on the "Save" button.

When you enable "QR Ordering," it will be accessible as a sub-menu within the Settings section.

• Choose QR Ordering or Web Store.
• Click on "Generate QR / Web Store."
• Opt for "QR" from the dropdown menu and input a name.
• Choose a shop and include a terminal.
• Include an order type if applicable.
• Specify a table if necessary.
• Select a QR size and press the OK button.
• Check the box for "Collect customer information" if required.
• Click on "Save."

After clicking 'save,' a QR code will be generated, providing the option to download it.

To download the QR code, kindly click on the three-dot button or the download URL.

How to Process QR Orders in POS App

First, you need to Tick On "Open Orders" in the FEATURE section in backoffice.

• Login to POS Back Office Webportal
• Select “ Settings ” from main menu
• Go to the “ Feature”
• Tick ON “Open Orders” button
• Click “ Save”

Once "Open Orders" is activated, it will be displayed on the POS APP as "Open Orders" within the new sales interface.

• Access the POS App main menu.
• Choose "New Sale."
• Navigate to the "Open Orders" section.
• Users will find QR Orders listed under the New Orders section.
• Select the QR Order and proceed to either ACCEPT or REJECT.

Upon acceptance, the user can proceed to prepare the order and complete the payment by selecting the payment icon.
