The detail

To integrate PayrollPanda (Panda Payroll) with QuickBooks, you must be on the PayrollPanda Pro plan. The integration automates your accounting by generating journal entries whenever you complete a payroll run. [1, 2] Follow these steps to connect and configure your accounts: ## 1. Connect Your Accounts 1. Log into your [PayrollPanda Account](https://www.payrollpanda.my/). 2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > QuickBooks. 3. Click on Connect to QuickBooks. 4. Enter your [QuickBooks Online](https://quickbooks.intuit.com/) credentials when prompted and click Connect. [3] ## 2. Configure Your Journal Settings * * Decide if you want to automatically generate QuickBooks journal entries upon final payroll approval. * Choose your preferred journal entry date (e.g., the payroll approval date or a custom date). * Note: If you disable automatic syncing, you can manually sync specific months by going to Run Payroll > Select Month > Sync Data to QuickBooks. [3, 4] * ## 3. Map Payment Recipients (Creditors) Match your payroll recipients to your QuickBooks liability or creditor accounts: [3] * * Employees → Map to Salary Payable (or your preferred net wages account). * Statutory Bodies (EPF, SOCSO, LHDN/PCB) → Map to their respective payable accounts in your QuickBooks Chart of Accounts. [4] * ## 4. Map Payroll Items (Expenses) Match your payroll items to your QuickBooks expense accounts: [3, 5] * * Map Basic Salary, allowances, and overtime to gross wage expense accounts. * Map Employer Statutory Contributions (Employer portions of EPF, SOCSO, EIS) to their corresponding employer tax expense accounts. * Note: You do not need to map employee statutory contributions, as they are already included within the gross salary amount.
