Migrating your database from Loyverse POS to Astana POS follows a direct export-map-import workflow. Loyverse uses a slightly different CSV layout (especially for SKUs and item variants), so aligning column names before importing is essential. Phase 1: Export Data from Loyverse POS 1. Export Products & Items * Log into your Loyverse Back Office on a web browser. * In the left menu, navigate to Items > Item List. * Click the Export button in the top right corner. * Loyverse will download a .csv file containing your items, SKUs, prices, categories, and stock counts. 2. Export Customer List * In Loyverse Back Office, navigate to Customers. * Click the Export button at the top of the customer list. * Save the downloaded CSV file (includes Customer Name, Phone, Email, Note, Total Spent, and Points). Phase 2: Map Loyverse CSV Headers to Astana POS Open both exported files in Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice. Compare your Loyverse headers against the required fields for Astana POS: > ⚠️ Key Formatting Checks: > * Items with Variants: Loyverse uses the Handle column to group variants under one master product. If importing into Astana as standalone items, ensure every row has a unique SKU and name. > * File Encoding: Save your edited sheets strictly as CSV UTF-8 (Comma Delimited) to prevent character glitches. > * Decimal Separators: Use dots (.) for decimals in pricing instead of commas. Phase 3: Bulk Import into Astana POS 1. Run a 5-Item Sample Upload Validation step Prepare a test CSV containing only 5 sample items. Upload it to Astana POS to confirm prices, categories, and barcodes match expectations on the terminal screen. 2. Import Product Database Astana Backoffice Go to Products > Import in Astana POS Backoffice. Drag and drop your mapped Loyverse product CSV, verify column associations, and click Confirm Import. 3. Import Customer Database Astana Backoffice Navigate to Customers > Import. Upload your mapped customer CSV to transfer your customer records and preserve contact information. 4. Sync Hardware Terminals Terminal Device Open the Astana POS app on your dual-display or handheld terminals and tap Sync Data (or refresh the product catalog) to sync the uploaded database.
